To deepen the study and implementation of Xi Jinping's rule of law ideology, actively explore the legal path of financial technology regulation, and enhance the competitiveness and regulatory level of China's financial technology, the Law and Fintech Institute (LFI for short) was officially established on October 12, 2022.
As an intellectual research institution, the Law and Fintech Institute is based at the School of Civil and Commercial Law, China University of Political Science and Law. Our goal is to study how legislative and regulatory bodies can improve the legal system and regulatory provisions of financial technology, promote the global regulatory agenda for financial technology innovation and sustainable development of the digital economy, and maximize the positive social impact of financial technology, Web3, blockchain, and artificial intelligence worldwide. We also aim to cultivate talents, build disciplines, and provide social services.
